AUCKLAND HEBREW CONGREGATION.
The annual meeting of the members of the Auckland Hebrew Congregation took place yesterday morning at the Synagogue. There was a large attendance, the chair was occupied by the president, Mr I. Phillips. Mr Alfred Nathan, treasurer, submitted the annual statement of accounts ~ and this was adopted. Mr Alfred Nathan was elected president, and Mr Sydney Nathan treasurer. The outgoing committee, auditors, and burial committee were re-elected. The matter of obtaining an organ for the Synagogue was referred to the committee to report. It was unanimously decided to record in the minutes the sincere and hearty thanks of the congregation to Mr I. Phillips for his m;mv years of valuable service.
