STUD NEWS.

Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co. announce in this evening's impression that the successful English stallion Seaton Delaval and also St. Hippo will be at the service of breeders this season. In siring Miss Delaval, Rosella and Hastings, in his first season Seaton Delaval has done well, and all of his stock are in great favour with trainers. Seaton Delaval's fee is fixed at 30 guineas. St. Hippo was the bestracehorse of his day in New Zealand, and with the great breeding in his pedigree he should get winners. The fee of St. Leger's son is reduced to 10 guineas this season. The following foalings are announced: — Messrs Nathan's Miss Gladys, by Cuirassier—Sybil, filly to Seaton Delaval. Mr J. Roulston's Miss Leger by St. Leger—Winnie, filly to Hotchkiss. Mr W. Rathbone's Merganser, by Nordenfeldt—Albatross, filly to Aprement.
