St. Stephen's Native Boys v. Federals. —Two accounts of this match have reached us. As they differ in cer-

A spectator writes:—"A very interesting game between the above teams was : played at St. Stephen's Avenue on Satiurday last, resulting in an easy wm I for the College boys by 8 points to 3. C. Brown, the captain, scored the first try, amidst the greatest enthusiasm, and converted it by' himslf from a very difficult, angle. Davis was responsible for the second try." Federals abandoned the match, leaving the Maoris in possession of the ground."
