The result of the clean up for the month of June was 7450z of bullion, valued at £1527, fromlo7s tons treated. The 40 stamps ran 23 days. In the western workings the rise irom the adit level' has holed through to the surface, and good ventilation thus secured. Tihe crosscut on No. 1 level to intersect the reef cut in the adit level has made g-ood progress, the distance driven in the month having been 19Sft. There is still about 14ft to drive to get under where the reef in the adit level was cut, and as it was practically verticall -where exposed there the above amount of driving should bring1 the reef to hand.
