THE FEDERAL ENABLING BIL.

In the Legislative Assembly the Premier said if Parliament amended the Federal Enabling Bill into a shape which the other colonies were not agreed upon, it would be useless to submit it to the people. He suggested the appointment of a committee to consider the financial clauses as they affected the rest of Australia.
