NEW COMPETITION.

NOW OPEN.

AN ANECDOTE COMPETITION,

It has been decided to make the anecdote competition a standing affair for the "Graphic." Every month 8 prizes of 5/ will be given for the best short anecdote of not more than 200 words contributed. It is not necessary that this sWild be original, but an effort should be made to avoid very old stories. The editor cannot undertake to return contributions or engage in correspondence over them. If the extract is valuable keep a copy of it. Communications should be marked "Anecdotes," and should be signed with name and address on the coupon, which will be found on the cover. The competition for July is now open, and will close on July 22nd. The decision of the editor in all "Graphic" competitions is final.
