WELLINGTON, this day,
Mr J. W. Jago, of Dunedin, has resigned the Presidency of the New Zealand Alliance.
The Rev. W. Gillies, Timani, has been elected President of the Alliance.
The work of the Convention this morning- was devoted to reading papers by the Revs. P. W. Isitt and Evans, Miss Kirk and Mr Miller.
