The usual fortnightly social in connection with St. Benedict's Club was held in St. Benedict's Hall last evening, fully one hundred couples being present. The music, supplied by Marriage's band, was as usual first class; while the duties of M.C.'s were satisfactorily earned out by Mesrs Corbett, Melican and Knotty It was announced during the evening that tho annual ball in aid of the club's funds would take place on Wednesday, sth July.
