Wednesday—Muritai for Great Barrier, midnight; Terranora for Whitianga, Kuaotunu, Tairua, Whangamata, and Tauranga, 9 p.m.

Thursday—Chelmsford, for Whangapoua, 9 p.m.; Glenelg for Opunake and Wanganui, 1 p.m.; ■Wellington, from Whangarei.

The s.B. Mawhera left for way ports and ■Wellington last night.

The barque Peru arrived at New York from this port on 4th ult., after a passage of 91 days.

The new steamer Kawau will probably be launched from Messrs Logan's yards early next week .

The barquentine Handa Isle proceeds to Kalpara on completion of her discharge to load timber for Sydney.

The s.s. Hauroto is to relieve the Talune In the Wellington-Sydney trade, the latter vessel being laid up for overhaul.

The Tyser steamer Star of Victoria left for Gisborne early this morning to continue her discharge and to load for London.

The s.s. lonic, which left Wellington on May 26, sailed from Rio de Janiero for London on Saturday last with her frozen meat In good condition.

Sixty days adrift at sea, with anchors gone, foretopinast wrenched and useless, water supply gone—such was the predicament of the Japanese schooner Riushul Maru, with 17 souls aboard, which put into Honolulu recently in distress. She sailed from Tokio, Japan, on December 31 on a shark-fishing cruise, and during the trip was struck by a westerly gale, which drove her before it. Unable to beat back to Japan against this wind, the schooner was forced to try to make Wake Island, and eventually made Honolulu.
