BUNKERS HILL.

Hanging-wall Reef.—Sinking was commenced on the reef this week, the country is of a g-ood description, and colours of gold have been seen in the reef when breaking down. Winze upon four-inch leader.—l am pleased to say the same favourable class of country has been penetrated, and specimen stone coming to hand evary day this week. During the early part of the week the leader opened out to between three and four feet, but is now again narrowing- in. As per wires 55 pounds of specimen stone have been produced during this week's operations on the leader, making a total quantity of 79 pounds in hand, and the leader has every appearance of continuing to produce good ore downwards.
