SEASON'S STATISTICS.-FIEST JUNIOR ELEVEN.
In this grade the club tied.for second, place.:-With Wanderers and- United, .securing 5 wins and -2-lossesy being defeated by Ponsonby (the cup winners) and .Upited by 2 -.wickets and 3 wickets Respectively, after /well contested games. In the supplemen-
tary round they won 1 and lost 1, their complete record thus standing at 6 wins and ?> losses. The first eleven scored in these 9 matches 1711 runs for the loss of 139 wickets, giving an average of 12.30 runs per wicket, while their opponents scored f;39 runs for 121 wickets, averaging 7.76 per wicket. The following are the batting and. bowling averages of the team, showing a distinct improvement upon last season.
