At the Police Court, Charles E. Watts, hairdresser, was charged with obtaining a pair ofi trousers valued at 25/ from Hugh C. McCready, Auckland, by means of false pretences, he representing himself to be manager Of the-Auckland Dramatic 'Society. He was remanded to Auckland to appear on the 20th inst. Bail was allowed.
