PAINFUL GUN ACCIDENT.

WHANGAREI, this day.

News has been received of a painful gun accident which occurred last week. It appears that a young man named Heyber, residing at Whakapara, was out shooting, when by some unknown means .his gun burst, severely injuring one finger and. slightly' damaging his hose. The injured finger had to be amputated, Dr. Hall attending.
