On Easter Monday the Newton Unsectarian Gospel Mission held their /picnic at Pine Island, and spent a very enjoyable day, about 150 going with the picnic. On the trip up the Mission Brass Band played several tunes making the trip a most enjoyable one. In°the afternoon a camp meeting was held on the island, when several short addresses were given by friends of the mission.
