BOWLING TOURNAMENT.

PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday.

The bowling tournament was continued to-day in glorious weather. The third round resulted as follows: — Wellington (55) defeated Thorndon (52); Newtown (40) defeated Palmerston (36). Fourth round: Newtown (39) defeated Feilding (30); Palmerston (44) defeated Thorndon (34). Fifth round: Wellington (40) defeated Newtown (37); Palmerston (51) defeated Feilding (39). In the aggregate Wellington and Palmerston have 3 wins and 1 loss each; Thorndon and Newtown, 2 wins and 2 lossers each; Feilding, 4 losses. Wellington and Palmerston play off the tie tomorrow.
