WELLINGTON, this day.

The balloting for holdings in. this estate took place yesterday, but the results are not yet to hand. The area of the property is about 48,000 acres, divided into 130 holdings. The keenness of the demand for good grazing and agricultural land is shown by the fact that there are 760 applicants. Mr Allah McLean, the vendor, takes a quarter of a million of the purchasemoney in debentures, and some £70,000 in ca_h.
