"WELLINGTON, Wednesday

The Masterton Racing Club stewards met this afternoon to further consider the Ethel rlnging-in case. It was resolved that the chairman of' the Racing Conference be asked to advise the club whether, assuming that the Masterton club are of opinion that the mare Ethel (really Cupid), rung-in at Ashburton as Virgil, and that R. S. Henry is connected with ringing-in, ought the Masterton club to deal with the matter, or ought it to be referred to the Ashburton club to deal with, and all evidence forwarded, and that pending the chairman's answer the Masterton club's decision be suspended with regard to Henry.
