There was a crowded attendance,, and the mag'r nificent and natural acting- of the principals again made a great inwii pression on the audience. The beauj) tifiil, scoaery too was much admired^ while a pretty introduced dance bad to be repeated. This evening and the following two nig-hts W. G. Wills' Napoleonic anOJ j semi-historical play, 'A Koynl Dii vorce,' will be staged with, all "\s9; magnificence of scenery and spectacujlar effects which - have made Ihis. i drama such a great favourite ■ wittS ! Australian playgoers. In addition1 tdj lan excellent interpretation at thsl hands of Mr Julius Knight, Miss Ada" Ferrar and their companions, the | stirring tableaux of 'The Retreat j from Moscow,' 'The Charge,' and 'The Rout? at Waterloo}'and the final sceil^ of- Napoleon on the 'Rock at St| Helena,' have contributed in ;so| small measure to the excellent 'draw' j this play has proved itself. As en a previous occasion Mr Julius Knight [will again be seen as Napoleon, wh'icn| next to his Marcus Superbus, is e6s|| sidered by many to be his best impersonation. Misb Ada Ferrar aa Josephine has therein also scored a distinct success. The Royal BalH§n& nas will make their first appearaSj^ this season in the 'Ballet dcs Joldief^ Cri-Cris,'' and Mr Rosevear will sin» 'The Little Corporal.'
