HOW BOYS CAMP.
By Harvey E. Teller.
When boys take a notion to camp they get ready a frying pan, tent and a dish-pan. Then they tlnnk where. will be a good place. The ocean beach is always suggested. Well, then the fun begins. Blankets of all kinds go flying into the waggon. The horse is hitched and they are off. When the beach is reached everything is turned out. The horse is turned loose, and then the work begins. Up goes the tent, the fireplace is built, and the boys are getting ready for a good dinner. Well, after it is all over and it begins to get dark, word is passed, 'Let us go to bed.' The light goes out and all the boys retire for the night.
The first thing in the mormng_is breakfast. Then the day starts for sport. Shooting of all kinds takes place. Bathing, cricket, and hide-and-seek make the fun for the day. Then comes time for lunch. The cook having lunch ready they all sit down and eat. Then the same thing goes on for about a week until it is time to go home. Then all the excitement begins over again. Everything is piled in the waggon and the boys start. When they reach home they get ready for a good sleep in their little beds. In the morning they tell their papa and mamma all about the nice time at the beach. Camping is not mentioned for a long time again.
