WAITEKAURI RETURN.
£6,018 FROM. 1,969 TONS
The return from the Waitekauri Company's mines for the past month's operations is a very satisfactory one, 1,969 tons having yielded bullion worth £6,015. This does not equal the former return, but this is satisfactorily explained, because, owing to the broken time during the holidays, the output for the period terminating January 28th included crushing for over 85 days, whereas this yield is simply for the month.
