PARNELL DRAINAGE SYSTEM
At the conclusion of the ordinary meeting of the Parnell Borough Council last evening the Council went iuto committee to discuss the proposed drainage scheme for the borough, and we understand that it was decided to take a poll of the ratepayers on the question of borrowing £10,000 for the completion of the drainage sysLcm. This is £2000 more than the Council proposed to borrow last year, but a larger sum has been allowed for the very necessary work of repairing the old sewers, and for incidentals.
