DAIRYING IN THE THAMES VALLEY.

The suitability of the Thames Valley for carrying herds of dairy cattle has long been* apparent, and ttfo settlers are now moving1 in the direction of" establishing the dairying industry in their midst. Mr SpraKS'. of the Now Zealand Dairy Association has received a requisition from the settlers asking him to erect a creamery in that district. He has agreed to meet the settlers and to talk matters over with them. The requisition advises that a. guarantee of a sufficient number of cows is available. The application adds 'There are some of your old suppliers settled around this place, and they speak in terms of praise of your fairness and management.' Mr Spmgg will visit the district this week. He says that subject to a reasonable guarantee of supply of milk he will open creameries in the Thames Valley forthwith.
