The Italian Government has promised that open-door commerce shall he maintained if China grants the Italian demand for the lease of Sayun Bay.
Europeans in China predict, that the Chinest Government will grant foreign nations spheres of action instead of an open-door for trade.
The Chinese attribute Britain's support of Italian claims to Sayvm Baj' to displeasure over the recent loan incidents.
