COMPENSATION TO WORKMEN.
LOXDOX, January 11
The Miners' Federation of Great Britain resolved to urge amendments in the Workmen's Compensation Act so as to include all. trades and the omission of the clause relating to wilful serious misconduct. The federation recommends the immediate payment of compensation, and the abolition of the 'contracting out' system.
