SUSPECTED POISONING.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day
A woman named Christina Johnco£k, aged 53, residing at Opawa, died yesterday under peculiar circumstances. It is stated that during the afternoon she told her neighbour that she had poison ready to take. Subsequently she fell ill and died before the doctor arrived.
