Barometer: Further fall at all places •northward of Timaru and Queenstown, but rising after from Six to twelve hours; rise at all other places. Sea very heavy on all western coast, also on east coast south of East Cape; heavy off shore from thence northward. Tides iow on north of East Cape; high elsewhere.
