A regatta was held on Boxing1 Day. The weather wasj fine, with a strong breeze. Mr 'Pittar's new yacht Rainbow Avon the race for Auckland yachts. The. other races, which were for local boats, resulted: Maple, \l. Tack-stern yachts: Ellen, 1. Open . boats (20ft and under): Beata, 1. Open boats (16ft and under): Stai\ 1.
