LAWN TENNIS.
'The old order chnngcth,' and tlie committee of the West fetid Club have found it. necessary to revise the bylaws of the club. This was done, last week, and a sub-comniiiTee, consisting of Messrs A. G. Cooke, 0. 11. .Tones, and A, Ooldie were appointed to prepare and draft new rules for the conduct of the club's a (fairs. These will be submited to the members at a special general meeting called for Saturday, December 31st, at :.! p.m., at the club house, Green-street. Evidently the West End Club have caug-ht. the spirit of the times, and are making' good resolutions for the new year. The. new rules, as ratified at. the special meeting', will be printed and copies furnished to all playing1 members. It is hoped that a full imister of the club will attend on Saturday next. The Paparoa Lawn Tennis Club held its annual meeting on Saturday last. The balance-sheet showed a
credit of IS/6. Miss Tibbits was unanimously re-fleeted secretary and treasurer. The subscription was fixed at 5/ per year.
