He | said that be had been working at ; Horseshoe Bush. — Sergeant Clarke i handed in a list of previous con- j vietions against accused and he was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour. Theft. — Two boys were charged ' that on 10th December thej- did steal 240 lbs of iron, value 5/ .the property of Dunn, Smith and Co. —Accused both pleaded guilty. Accused were also charged with stealing three hundred weight of fire bars, value' 6/6, the property of Dunn, Smith and Co. To this charge the accused , pleaded not guilty. Alleged Attempted Suicide.— On, the application of Sergeant Clarke William Brighting, charged .with attempting to commit suicide on Tuesday last, was further remanded until to-morrow. A. Dangerous Practice.—Joseph Willing; charged with burning coal upon the railway wharf on December 11, did not appear—Evidence was heard, from which it Transpired that accused told the wifneses he was drying sacks.

—Accused was fined 20/ or in default one month's imprisonment Prohibition Order.—A prohibition order was issued against Harry Blank on the application of his wife.
