Zurlinden would give the signal for a rising in the army. /'The Anti-Semitic League has posted a proclamation 5n Paris recalling if. Freyeinet's recent.admission in. the Chamber-, as ,to the compromising character of the ultra secret dossier. ]$eycinet then stated that if portions 6f. the dossier in which the nanies mentioned were revealed, there would be'danger to the State. The proclamation states that the people will act if the Government fail to protect, the State. . . :/>.-' ~' ' PARIS, December. 21. ; The decision of the Court of Cassation will be final. It is expected that.it will be delivered in February. 'The cases against M. Zola and M. Gohier, the latter being the author of .a book entitled 'The Army .Against 'the Nation,' and other cases, will tdkeanother six months to deal with. If Gohier's book, which created a sensation, provokes an outbreak, many affirm that the Orleanists will have a chance owing to the jealousies existing between the generals. \M. Joseph Fourniere, the Socialist deputy for Aisne, introduced a Bill in the' Chamber of Deputies conferring the franchise onthe soldiery. ' i M. Dupuy thought the. Dreyfus affair has done enough harm to the country without introducing^ politics into the army. An "independent motion to treat the Erasure as one of. urgency was rejected.
