THAMES DRAINAGE BOARD
Messrs G. S. Kissling (chairman). .1. Park. J. McEnteer, G. S. Clark, J. F. Clarke and C. C. McMillan attended the meeting of the Thames Drainage Board held yesterday in .Mr D. 0. Maedonnell's office. The business was of a formal nature. The statement of accounts for the month showed cash balance to have been £317 11/S; contributions received £256 12/6; total £574 4/2. The expenditure was: Accounts paid, £255 15/-I; accounts paid and to be passed, £80 5/tt; cash balance, £238 3/4. The accounts due were £15fi 13/10. The balance sheet was adopted, and if was resolved to allow a rebate of 25 per cent, on contributions paid during the month. Mr .1. Brokenshiro reported re, the. machinery that certain requisite repairs were being dont at a cos tof £30 by Messrs A. and G. Price. The working expenses for the month totalled £210. The. annual election of members of the Board takes place on 21st January and nominations require to be in seven days earlier.
