MASONIC.
The election and installation of officers of the Ponsonby Lodge or Druids for the ensuing six months took place last night in St. George s Hall, Newton. Bro. E. T. Michaels was re-elected district president, and le later in the evening performed the installation ceremony in an able and impressive manner. The officers elected are as follows:•—P.A., Bro. ±. W. Yates; AD Bro. Wm. Blomfield; V.A., Bro. S Rowe? secretary, Bro. J. Peet (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. A. Jackson (re-elected); V.A. Bards, Bros. Tonkin and Giles; 1.G., Bro. A. .Campbell; 0.G., Bro. A. Evans; organist, Bro. F. Bragge; librarian, Bro. L>. Ward; surgeons, Bros. Drs. Moir and Hood (re-elected); trustees, Bros. J. Strathearn, Win. Blomneld, *• Ward; Grand Ledge representative, Bro. Wm. Blomfield; Friendly Societies Conference representative, Bro. A. Mowburn; minute secretary, Lro. Greenhough The balance-sheet showed the lodge had made progress duria S the half year. It was announced the meeting'of the Grand Lodge of Druids would be beld in Auckland in February next. t , ;^_- J --
