Barometer: Further fall northward of East Cape, Taupo. and New Plymouth; fall again soon elsewhere. Sea: Heavy on both coasts after 20 hours.

Tides: High on East Coast north of East Cape, and south of Napier; good on West Coast north of New Plymouth, and high from thence southward.
