There was a good attendance at the concert held in the Franklin Koad Church last evening, the proceeds be° ing in aid of new classroom for infant class. Mr E. Williamis, superintendent, was in the chair. All the performerg acquitted themselves well. Miss Eaves recited 'TEe Church and the World, also 'The Changed Cross.' Songs were, sung by Mrs "j. H. Woods, Mrs C. Dickens, Miss La ing, Miss Nellie But-? ler, Mr G. Higgott, Mr J. Ferriday and Mr Morath. The West End Orchestra, under the baton of Mr J. W. Cook gave three selections, and St. John's choir., conducted by Mr Horsley three art" * thems. Miss Goodacre was accompanist for ihe evening. ...
