AMATEUR ATHLETICS AND CASH CYCLING.
At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club last evening the following resolution was unanimously adopted: " That this Committee regrets the decision of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, granting to the associated clubs permission to place on their programmes events for cyclists under New Zealand League of Wheelmen rules, and begs to protest against such decision as a breach of faith to the New Zealand Cyclists' Alliance in general, and especially to the Auckland Amateur Athletic Club!" It was decided to receive, entries for the Two-mile Pr<fvincial Bicycle Championship and 120 Yards, Invitation Hurdle Race on the night of the general acceptances. A subcommittee was appointed to draw up a scheme for a snorts' club, and report to a future meeting of the Committee. Messis A. E. 'Whitaker, R. Isaacs, F. S. Murray. G. Murray, Gatland, A. Tillly, C. t,'. James, • Wynyard Joss, J, W. White and E. G. Skeates were elected members of the Club.
