LONDON, September 26.

The Australian racehorse Georgia (by Clanstuart —Mirzapore) won the Prince Edward Handicap, one mile, at Manchester September meeting, Newhaven was also a starter and finished sixth.

[The Prince of Wales Handicap is a stake worth about £ISOO. Georgic, the winner, is the property of Mr H. C. White, of Sydney, who achieved many successes in England with the gelding Paris. She proved herself very smart while racing1 in Australia. She won the A.J.C. December Stakes and All-aged Stakes, in the latter defeating Wallace, Hova, and The Admiral. As a three-year-old she won the Leeholme Stakes at Randwick, and finished behind Auraria in the V.E.C. Oaks.]
