TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS,

I The proceeding's in connection with, the Christian Endeavour Union Convention were continued to-day and were characterised bj' enthusiasm and religious devotion. From seven to , eight o'clock this morning- a prayer land testimony meeting was held in 'the Wesley Hall, at the corner of Pittstreet and Karangahape Eoad. There was a very fair attendance; and Mr R. H. Swales led the proceedings. The i afternoon meeting's in the mission I tent opposite the Free Library were devoted to women. The gathering was opened at half past twelve o'clock, Mrs j Schnackenberg being in the chair. The aettendance was a fairly good one. After prayer and the singing of hymns from Moody and Sankey's collection, Miss N. J. Stewart delivered an address on the subject of 'Endeavour in the Home,' which was followed by an adrdess on 'Endeavour Outside the Home' by Miss Grindrod. Sacred j solos were sung by Miss Kimmer and | Miss Fear. Later on this afternoon a 'Sunshine lially' took place in the Baptist Tabernacle, and was well attended. The arrangements were made by the Rev. W. A. Sinclair and Misses Wood and Kirk. A missionary meeting will be held this evening in the Beres-i'ord-street Congregational Church. Speeches on the subject of 'What New Zealand is Doing for Missions' will be delivered by the Revs. A. Mitchell, W. F. Wilson,' A, H. Collins, R. F. MacNicol and W. J. Crook.
