A meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland.Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club was held last evening, Mr F. W. Edwards in the chair. It was decided to instruct the Auckland delegates to the New Zealand Cyclists' Alliance to vote for the removal of the headquarters of. the Alliance to Auckland. In reference to the practice of schoolboys competing both at the club's meeting and at the Auckland Cycling Club's gatherings, it was decided to inform intending competitors that racing at unauthorised meetings would not be recognised. A reply was received from the N.S.W.A.A.A. to the effect that M. M. Roseingrave, of Sydney, would accept the Club's invitation to compete nt the November meeting. A. H. Holder, of Wanganui, wrote stating that owing to indisposition he would be unable to accept the invitation. It was decided that it be a recommendation of the local officer of the X.Z.A.A.A. that no permits be granted Lo running members of the club to •ompete at outside meetings at which cycling members are not eligible to ■ompete. The programme for the November meeting was drawn tip.
