SYDNEY, September 26. An ex-policeman named McCoy at Mudgee, murdered his wife and infant child with an axe. He dashed the brains of both over the floor, and also threatened one of his boys. The couple *ad frequently quarrelled. -The murderer alleges that his wife threw hot water over him. He was -unnecessarily Jealous of his wife.
