FATAL ' S 4 (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A fetal accident occurred on the main road near Pungarehu this morning. An old Maori woman named Rahiri and her son, in a lig-ht gig-, were passing an express driven bjr Mr King-ham, of Hawera, when the gig went over a ' big stone. The woman was thrown ! out and fell under the express, the j wheels of which passed over her, killing her instantaneously. She was the widow of the well known chief Hone Pihama. pEAR S^ gOA P.
