GREAT BARRIER.

The annual meeting of shareholders in the took place yesterday at Mr Geo. Elliott's office, and was largely attended. Mr W. D. Holdgute presided. The directors' report gave details of the work clone in the mine, and stated that absolute protection for six months was obtained last June. The statement of accounts showed receipts £384 3s 4d, and the expenditure left a credit balance of £53 10s 2cl. The expenditure on the mine was £247 10s lOd. The retiring directors, Messrs W. D. Holdgate and James Burtt, Avere re-elected.
