A MURDER CHARGE.
MELBOURNE, this day. A man named Archer has been arrested in Melbourne for the Strath™®rt°n. trag;edy. Accused has admitted being in the company of the murdered man Matthews about the date of the murder. Matthews and nis mate were collecting opossum skms on the 18th inst, A man giving the name of Archer sold a horse and cart near Strathmerton and came to Melbourne, where he disposed of a quantity of skins.
