• We remind our readers of the Dampier benefit concert at the Choral Hall tonight. A first-class programme has been prepared for the occasion. Trams and 'buses will run to the Choral Hall from all parts. An all nations meeting takes place at the Salvation Army, Newton, next Thursday. Special costumes will be worn and Miss Bimmer will sing. The next winter entertainment of the V.M.C.A. will be given on Friday next, when Professor Carrollo and pupils will give a gymnastic display, and a vocal and instrumental programme will also be given.
