LONDON, Sept. 25. At yesterday's wool sales only a poor selection was offered, chiefly inferior cross breds. There were large withdrawals. Waitang^ and Waipawa clips brought Gid; Sir John Hall's merino 9gd.
Frozen mutton—Crossbred wethers maiden ewes, Canterbury, 3M; Dunedin and Southland 3Jd; North Island 3d l-16th. Lamb—Prime Canterbury 5?, d, fait; average, including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury sd; River Plate crossbred or Merino wethers heavy 2gd; light 2Jd.
