CRICKET.

PONSONBY CRICKET CLUB,

There was a large muster of members of the Ponsonhy Cricket Club on Saturday last at the Club's ground, where a scratch match was played by teams picked from members of the club by the captain and vice-captain. Some good form was shown both in batting and bowling more notably the latter, as the ground rather favoured the trundler. Members are all taking a deep interest in* the welfare of the Club, which is increasing steadily in numbers and promises to have a successful season.
