Tararu Creek shares sold to-day on the Exchange at Is lid, and were still in request at the same price. Alburnias also had demand at Is lOcl and Alphas at 2s 4d. Several sales were made of Talismans at 9s Gd, and there were further buyers at the same price with no sellers, under 9s 9d. Woodstocks were asked for at 11s 6d, and Silvertons at us Bd, but holders preferred to wait for higher prices. In low priced lines buyers of Imperials ad vancedto4d, Bunkers' Hills to skl,andinquiry wa!s madefor Young New Zealand shares at l£d. Standard stocks had good all round demand. Buyers of New Zealand Insnrance advanced one shilling, 65s being offered. An inquiry was also made for New Zealand Accident at 21s 6<l. Northern Steam shares firmed a little, 6s 9d being oflered to-day. Ralph's Taupiri Coal shares were still asked for at os 6d, and "YVestport Coal at 5Ss. Other coal shares also had demand at late rates.
