Messrs Hunter and Nolan report: ~- Horses—More plentiful than usual. The demand for heavy and medium draught is fair. Heavy draught £15 to £26 10/, medium £12 to £IS, light harness £3 to £12 10/, hacks £3 10/ to £11 10/. HidesShow a slight improvement in value; ox hides brought Sid to 4id per Ib, steers 2id to 3id, cows 2Jd to 33d, kips 2gd to 3d, stags Id to ljd, calfskins 2d to 3d. tallow 12/6 to 15/6 per cwt; rough fat r ; d to 1M per lb. Bones £3 15/ per ton. Sheepskins—There was a good catalogue and free sale at from 1/5 to 5/1, lambskins 4d to 1/3, wool 4id to ffiid. There was a full supply of fat cattle, and last week's rates were realised. Ox beef brought 19/ to 20/ per 1001b, cow beef 16/ to 17/. Sheep were yarded in fair numbers. Wethers brought 12/ to 17/, ewes 10/9 to 14/3, mixed sexes 13/9, store wethers 6/6 to S/6, spring lambs 2/ to 11/. Pigs —Porkers 13/6 to 25/, weaners 3/6 to 11/'j.
