£1,195 FROM 353 TONS,
Durinc. the past month 353 tons of ore won°from the stopes on the Cardigan No. 2 reef in this mine yielded ,4220z lOdwts of gold worth £1,195 6/6. Stoping on No. 2 ree. at the No. six level is in progress, and driving eastward xpon the No. 1 lode with the rock drill is also one of tie development -works proceeding. This lode averages about 9 inches in width, and the drive has been extended in the direction stated E distance of 300 feet. At tie battery 22 head are being used for the treatment of the company's orej and parthrough. In the Cardigai section the No. 2 reef is beiig: driven on seaward, and the lodejwhich is about 9 inches in thickntes looks promising, colours of gold lsing seen in the ore..
