Mr Campbell purposes purchasing the Aroha Company's battery at WaioroSmai together with certain mining properties. It is Mr Campbell's mSon to enlarge his present plant aS also to employ cyanide as well as W S own process, so as to ensure savfng 95 per cent, of the assay value of the refractory ore. Arrangements have been made by ihZ directors of this company With ihl Rev Joseph Campbell to have 40 tons of'ore treated at the Te Aroha Ste reducing plant of the Montezuma Company. The l«cal representative of the Montezima Company, Rev. Joseph Campbell, has obtained a three months' option over tlie Premier and New Find mines, together Wththe battery, cyanide p ant, water race, tramways, etc., of the Aroha Company.
