Fruit—Tasmanian apples 7/ to 8/6 case, mandarins 7/7 to S/, passion fruit 4/6 to 6/3, pines 7/ crate, local lemons 4/6 to 5/6, Island oranges 9/, local dessert 5/6, marmalade 9/ to 10/. At our weekly sale we cleared. an extra large catalogue of hides, etc. Hides — Competition brisk. Picked prime ox 6d to 6_d, extra stout 5d to old, stout 4d to 4_d, medium 3id to 3Jd, cow best lines 3Sd per lb, medium 3d to 3£d, kip 31d to Sid, calf 3d to 4_d, damaged hides nominal. Sheepskins—Large, heavy woolled, green and salted 4/S to 4/9, heavy if to 4/6, medium 3/5 to 3/8, small 2/6 to 3/, dry skins 3d to 5d lb. Wool—Odd lots, prices nominal, 3_"d to 5d,. locks 2d to 2j?d. Tallow—Bidding very brisk, good line 3 15/6 to 16/6 per cwt, medium 14/ to 14/6, inferior 10/ to 12/, rough fat ld to lid per lb. Eones—Very scarce. Best dry 75/ per ton, seconds 60/ to 70/ per ton. Bonedust—Emu and Runcorn £6 10/ to £6 15/ per ton.
